Dear Mr. Korman, Hi, I'm Lila Wilburn and eleven years old and in sixth grade. I love your books!!!! My favorite books are the Swindle mysteries. My favorite Swindle book is Showoff and Hideout. I'm between Melissa Dukakis and Savannah Drysdale. I have a dog that is just like Luthor. Who are you most like in those books? Can you please write more books about Swindle mysteries? I want to be an author someday, so do you have any tips? Thanks for reading!!!!!!!! P.S. I also like the Man with the Plan Griffin Bing. Lila W.

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that you enjoy my books, and that my SWINDLE series has made such a big hit with you. As you can imagine it was fun to write, too! Have you read all 8 of them? I haven't planned any more, but I won't rule it out either. Let's just say that I'm thinking about it. No promises.

Writing tips: read a lot, of course. And write every day -- stories, letters, instructions, anything at all. Writing makes you better at more writing! And always plan a story before you write a single word. Planning is everything. You can't say anything properly unless you know exactly what you're trying to say. And you can't know that unless you plan it first. Good luck with your writing!
