Hello Gordon! My name is Maya, and I was just wondering if you like receiving fan art? I love to paint, and I was wondering if I could create some fan art for you as a personal passion project.

I was also wondering, if I do follow through on this, is there someplace where I could send you a picture of whatever wacky painting/drawing comes out of this? I'd love to hear your opinion!

Thanks for posting.

I've never seen much fan art, but I know there is a lot of it going on, because people are constantly writing me and asking about the color of a character's hair, or how tall someone might be. I can always be reached here on the website, or at the address of the publishing company of a particular book. I can't always promise a reaction, though, because I get a lot of mail and e-mail. I try to answer it all, but I sometimes fall behind, or have to cut my response short.

Thanks for your interest. I've never been into art myself, so I REALLY admire someone who is good at it!
