    Geode

    Hello my name is Geode,

I am 24 and I grew up reading as many Gordon Korman books as I could get my hands on. Still my favorite author and my favorite books are the McDonald Hall series and no coins, please. Unfortunately I whent looking for a new copy of no coins, please only to learn amazon looks to be the only one who has them new. Not only that but they are over $600. I looked for a used one but most are $30-$60 and in terrible condition. I want to read this to my kids one day and have it as a cherished family possession but I don't know if that can happen now. Any ideas? Any copies?

Thank you for reading my tiny rant of love,

    - Geode

    Hi ,Geode,

Thanks for posting and mostly for your loyalty to NO COINS, PLEASE. I'm equally horrified by the prices you were quoted for copies, new and used!

The original publisher is Scholastic Canada Ltd. Their phone number for inquiries is 1-800-268-3848. The book is out of print at the moment, and I don't know if they're planning to reissue it. They're about to publish HYPERGIFTED, which will be my 106th title. But you can ask about NO COINS, PLEASE.

Sorry I can't be of more help to you. Please let me know if you meet with any success.

                                              Kindest regards,                                                      -----Gordon Korman-----

Oh my god! I'm so happy to see that somebody else is looking for 'No Coins, Please' as well. It might possibly be my favourite book as a kid and I'm on a quest to collect as many GK books as I can for my future kid(s). I ready everyone my school library had at the time! I'll reach to Scholastic too. Lets get a movement going to get some reprints!

    Hi, Jeremy,

VERY pleased to see another long-time fan! I hope you have success picking up the older editions. Thanks so much for your support. It really means a lot to find I have fans from 'way back when!                 -----Gordon Korman-----
