I finally finished the Hypnotists like everyone said. I also skipped the other 39 Clues books to book 8. I might go back to them later, but who knows. Also, a funny story about checking out Whatshisface: I accidentally checked out an audiobook AND a hardcover copy, and it was SO embarressing explaining it to the library. She was very kind and sne t it back, but I made extra work for everyone :(
