I grew up reading Gordon Korman books and in the last few years my oldest daughter, now 12, has followed in my footsteps - although mostly with newer books. No Coins, Please was one of my favourite books as a kid - I remember laughing so hard I cried at a couple points in the story. I’ve been trying to find a copy for my daughter but have not had much luck. Amazon is selling at a high price point but I’m wondering if there’s anywhere else it can be found these days.

Hi, Adam from Edmonton,

I've heard it's hard to find, and very expensive. BUT one of my readers wrote me just today that he picked one up at a second-hand bookstore. PLUS Scholastic Canada tells me they are planning to reissue a lot of my older books at the time that my first one, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, turns 50, which will be next year. So hang in there. It just might be coming.

Congrats on 50 years! That\'s pretty incredible to be creating stories that resonate with generation after generation for that long!
