[Parker Engle]

Hello Mr. Korman,

My name is Parker Engle, and I’m fourteen years old. About a year ago, in February, I had the opportunity to connect with you through this website. At that time, you graciously told me that we were allowed to create a Masterminds movie as long as we did not make any profit from it. I wanted to sincerely thank you for allowing us to take on this project—it has been an amazing experience for all of us involved.

You also mentioned that you would like to see the finished film once it was complete, and I’m excited to share it with you now.

Is there any way that I could send it to you privately because the one I just tried to post got deleted?

From all of us at PCW Studios, thank you again for your generosity and inspiration. We truly hope you enjoy watching it. And we would love to know your thoughts on the Fan Film.

Sincerely,
Parker Engle

So sorry it was not showing before

Thanks,

Hi, Parker,

What a nice surprise! I'd forgotten all about your film. Would you be able to send it to my office:

                                                       [email protected]

Looking forward to it!                                                                                                                            --GK--

[Parker Engle]

Hey there I sent it yesterday just wanted to make sure that you got it

Thanks,

Parker

Got it. But you have to give me more time to watch it! It's 1 hr. 40 mins., after all! I'm imressed at the effort!         --GK--

[Joey papa]

if you can send me a link here via files I would also LOVE to see it (Parker)

[Parker Engle]

That is a question for Mr. Gordon Korman, but if he says yes I'd love to send it to you!

Thanks,

Parker Engle

[Joey]

You're able to send a link/file through this website if you didn't know that. Did you mean you want/need Gordan's permission to let me see this?

[Joey]

oh wait sorry, I forgot the one you tried to post on this website got deleted lol. Could you send it to my email [email protected]?

[Joey]

Sorry if I accidentally sent like 50 messages saying the same thing this websites being glitchy for me. Do you mean you think u need his permission to send it to me? I'm not sure if that's the case but regardless whenever your ready/get his permission can you send it to my email [email protected]?

Parker, this is the very reason why I was hesitant to give you permission in the first place. The film rights to these books are in the hands of a very important filmmaker. They will not be pleased, and will likely scrub the project, if your movie is shown all over the Internet. And you can't guarantee that this person will not do just that.

For this reason, I have to deny you permission to send him your film. I'm sorry about that.    ---Gordon Korman---

[Parker Engle]

Mr Korman,

Hello, Just checking in to see is you had watched the movie.

If so we'd love to hear from you!

Thanks,

Parker

I did watch it, Parker. I have to say I'm amazed at the effort you put into it, and at how close to the story it is.

I think it's very possible -- in fact, probable -- that we will see your name in filmmaking in the future. Is that what you have planned? Congratulations to you, and to your actors. They were good -- often VERY good.

I'm sorry I was unable to allow its distribution, but I'm afraid our agreement was that you have to keep it among yourselves. You really have no way of knowing what another person plans to do with your work without permission.

OK? Again, congrats! My family viewed it, and they were impressed too!                      -----Gordon Korman-----

[Parker Engle]

Mr. Korman,

Thank you very much for watching it and we are so glad you enjoyed it. No distribution is absolutely fine with me, we all loved making it and that is enough. Hopefully we can take our movie making abilities further and we appreciate your support.

From all of us at PCW Studios,

Thank you
