Hi Mr.Korman I really liked Old school and its a funny story on how I read it.I was in my schools library just wanting to get a book to read after I finished the hunger games so I was browsing through shelves and looked at the title "Old School" with a dodo on it .I found it super hilarious like why is there a book with this cover, I showed to my friend he looked at me like I was holding the most gross thing ever .So I borrowed it .It was a blast! I have never been so invested in a book ever!!! I loved all the characters perspectives each chapter but I want to talk about Jackson Sharpe specifically as he was sorta the main villain through the story making Dexter do a project he was not required to do and Dexter outshining him .I feel like his character was barely shown since he only got around 4 chapters where he just saw what changed with Dexter around and the aftermath he was just in a bad mood and I would think it would be cool if he was actively battling Dexter and trying to get rid of him for good like New school versus Old School where he destroys the fixing of the stairs and then reach an compromise with Dexter

Thanks for posting. I'm glad to hear that OLD SCHOOL went over so well with you.

I see your point -- Old School vs. New School. Jackson was only there to help show how odd the regular kids thought Dex was. Also, don't forget that Dex was a little clueless and never quite understood Jackson Sharpe's point of view -- OR he knew all about the guy, and had no trouble handling him -- take your pick. But turning it into a blood sport wasn't an option. It was a comedy, after all, right?
