    Oliver Zarebinski

    Dear Mr. Korman,

My name is Oliver Zarebinski, and I am an 11-year-old author. I recently published a middle-grade verse novel titled Snow in the Sunshine.

I wanted to reach out because your books, with their humor, heart, and exciting plots, have inspired me as a young reader and writer. They showed me how stories can be fun and meaningful at the same time, and they encouraged me to try writing a verse novel of my own.

Snow in the Sunshine is about a girl coping with loss and learning to find hope again. I would be happy to send a PDF of the book if you’d like to review it. If it resonates, a brief blurb from you would mean a great deal to me.

I completely understand how busy you are and truly appreciate your time and consideration.

    Warm regards,
    Oliver Zarebinski

    Congratulations, Oliver!

I know what an amazing feeling your first book can be. I was 12 when my 7th grade English project, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, became my first book -- and that was almost 50 yars ago! There is nothing quite like the feeling of holding your very first published volume!

But I have had to make it my policy not to read and blurb other people's books. I get so many requests that I would wind up doing everyone's work but my own! But I wish you evey success with the book. I've never read a verse novel -- I think it must be an amazing accomplishment to have produced one.

Best of luck with the book, Oliver. I'll be watching for your name!

                                                      Kindest regards,                                            -----Gordon Korman-----
