Fiona🤪Hey again!! Just wondering how long does it usually take you to write a book? Where do you get all your story ideas? And how do you figure out the names and personalities of the characters? Also, you can call me Fii (you say it like fee).🤪

It takes as long as it takes -- a book is finished when the story is told. My shortest was 5 weeks; the longest was the best part of a year. Average takes abot 6 or 7 months. I dream up my story ideas, also the characters and their personalities. That's why they call it CREATIVE writing! A lot of things have to be made up and planned. To me, planning my story is everything! As for names -- that's usually easy. Everyone in the world has a name. Or you can pick one up by reading a telephone book (is there such a thing?) or even a newspaper.
