Dear Mr. Korman,

I really enjoyed reading your book Restart. I love the way you write your books with detail and humor which is why I have decided to start reading Operation Do Over.  Something I really love about your books is how you end the books; it is so exciting and stressful at the same time but, you tie it up so nicely like how in Restart you could have ended it multiple times, but you did not you made the reader feel suspenseful. I learned from Restart that anyone can make a good change and that is very inspirational.

Some questions I have for you are how do you know what to write about; what is your inspiration? Do you enjoy making these books; do you get excited from the books?

Dear Mr. Korman,

I recently finished reading Restart. It was one of the best books that I ever read, and my next book that I am reading is War Stories. I loved how you used so much humor in the book when their was a lot of suspense happening. Like during the fire extinguisher scene with Joel and Chase and the others it was really emotional. Something I learned about the book is to change and to Restart yourself if you made a mistake.

I have a few questions to the book Restart  

Will Bear and Aaron change in the book and become kind?

Will there be a sequel to Restart?

I just finished reading one of your books Restart. I loved how you put funny parts and parts that are so detailed. The part that was my favorite was when Chase was bringing the medal of honor back to Mr. Solway, then Bear and Aaron stopped him from bring it to him.  Another part that was my favorite when everybody started clapping for Chase at the end. I am wondering why you added the last chapter about Brenden Espinoza, I thought you were just going to end the book the second to last chapter about Chase. I hope you make another book similar to Restart, because I loved it. Why did you decide to add another chapter to the end, I thought you would end the chapter with Chase.

Dear Mr. Korman,

I really like reading your books. I just finished Restart; I like how you don\'t stop when you should. You have an ending sentence, but then you just keep going. You also add a lot of humor in your books like when Kimberly says to Chase, \"You used to call me Kimmy.\" I like the message of Restart. I loved how you added Brendan Espinoza for chapter thirty. Most books do not tell you exactly what happens to each character. I your book, the book ends with Brendan saying how he finally is dating Kimberly. I also love Restart I love the idea of the book. I think Restart and Faker are the best. I am starting to read Snoop. 

Our whole school loves your books. We really hope we can raise you money so you can come to our school. Our teacher loves your books and all the books that she made us read are your books. I am really excited to read Snoop; I know it will be a good book. Can you answer my questions?

Dear Mr. Korman,

I recently finished Restart. I thought that it was fantastic. You added the right amount of detail, and the writing was so good that it always made me want to keep reading. One of my favorite chapters was chapter 29. I thought that it was so sweet that everybody came to support him, but you did not stop there you kept going with chapter 30 and tied up all of the loose ends. I love how you showed Chase\'s reflection so many times, and in the court Chase did not say yes he was so honest. I have also read Faker I thought it was so good and well written. I love your books so much, and I really hope that you make a sequel to Restart. 

Some questions that I have are where Bear and Aaron always bullies or did Chase influence them to be bullies. Was Chase\'s dad also a bully?

I recently read Restart, and I loved it! It was my favorite book I've read so far; you really made me appreciate books. I really like how you detail the book because I could really feel for the characters. Also, I love the humor! I was laughing the whole time, and I could not put the book down. I also appreciated the balance of humor and seriousness. I really learned a lot from the characters, and I love how Chase reflects on his past self and really makes an effort to change and be a better person. I really appreciated the last chapter. Most authors do not add a chapter like this, but it really ties the story together. 

I'm about to start Operation Do Over and I'm so excited! Also a Restart sequel, please?!  You're such a good writer and a huge role model. Any writing tips?

Dear Mr. Korman,

I recently finished Restart. It was one of my favorite books of all time. I loved how you did not end the book when Chase returned the medal. Sometimes during the book I was laughing out loud; I loved the humor you included in the book. I really appreciated how you had a balance of humor and seriousness. I will always remember when everyone in the court stood up for Chase in the stadium. I have also read Faker and enjoyed how you gave me a window into something I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. I love how you add multiple climaxes to your books and how you really know how to hook us as readers.

I learned many life lessons thanks to your book. I loved how you emphasized the theme anything is possible. It really boosted my self confidence. Personally I thought that chapter 29 should have been the ending to Restart, but I liked how you added Brendan's chapter to wrap things up.

I thought I'd better say hi, and thank you for so much support for my work!

The kids have overwhelmed me, mostly by multiple postings and quadruplications, and I'm going to have to stop answering -- with regrets. I thrive on their praise and enthusiasm, and I really do appreciate their exuberance, but it's too much to deal with and also make my deadlines and personal appearances without delays. I hope one day to visit your classroom in person and meet these great people. Their questions were amazingly bright, and their commentary will always remind me of who my audience is.

Please let them know how much I appreciate their letters and postings. And tell them that if I've done even a little thing to turn them on to reading, then it's my reward on this Earth!

Our 5th-grade book club just finished Restart, and we were completely captivated from the first page to the last. Even the students who usually don\'t enjoy reading found themselves pulled into Chase’s world. 

As someone who loves to read and write, I usually find shifting perspectives distracting. However, the way you used each character\'s voice to build the narrative was incredible! I also typically avoid predictable stories, but your writing kept us guessing until the very end; the plot was beautifully complex and unguessable.

I am a huge fan of your work and hope you never stop writing. Also, since you are such an inspiration, would you ever consider writing a guide on how to write books? I would love to learn from your process.
