    Dear Mr. Korman,

My whole 6th grade just finished reading your book Restart and we all unanimously loved it. I really noticed how your book kept me on the edge of my seat, never bored me, and left me with so many questions I was going crazy. Most books bore me after a while because the plot seems repetitive, unrelated, and boring, but your books are the exact opposite which is why I encourage you to keep writing more books for us. I am not kidding you books are really different and are so relatable that they actually make me like reading. I don't really know about all the copyright and trademark stuff because I'm not a lawyer but you should really get the rights to Netflix or Disney and make you books into a movie. Not all of them but your really good and famous ones like Restart and Faker. I know you think I'm just another one of those kids that are just writing to you because my teacher made me, and really I am but I actually like your books and you actually gave me something fun to do all day. I know I just wrote too much in one post but I have questions that I would like for you to answer:

    1. Have you ever considered making your books into a movie?

    2. Do you have like a secret recipe to your books? Like a dash of mystery and a pinch of conflict?

    3. When did you first start writing and what inspired you?

    4. Are you like SUPER rich? If so you should definitely think about the movie thing.

    Best,

    Liam

    Hi, Liam,

Glad you enjoyed RESTART. I'll try to get to all your questions.

    1. Film companies make movies, and writers write books.   2. If I have a secret recipe, it's to add a bit of comedy to even the most serious story.  3. I started writing when I was 12, in 7th grade. I wrote my first book, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, as an English assignment.  4. And I am not super rich. And even if I was, I would hire a film compny to make the movie.

    OK? Thanks, Liam.                                                                                     -----Gordon Korman-----
