Dear Mr. Korman,

 

I recently finished Restart. I thought that it was fantastic. You added the right amount of detail, and the writing was so good that it always made me want to keep reading. One of my favorite chapters was chapter 29. I thought that it was so sweet that everybody came to support him, but you did not stop there you kept going with chapter 30 and tied up all of the loose ends. I love how you showed Chase\'s reflection so many times, and in the court Chase did not say yes he was so honest. I have also read Faker I thought it was so good and well written. I love your books so much, and I really hope that you make a sequel to Restart. 

 

Some questions that I have are where Bear and Aaron always bullies or did Chase influence them to be bullies. Was Chase\'s dad also a bully?

I recently finished reading Restart. It was one of my favorite books ever! I really love the way you add humor and really get the readers at the edge of their seat. I also recently read Faker. It was also one of my favorites! Some questions I have for you are:

 

Why did you add the last chapter with Brendan? Personally I thought chapter 29 would have been the best ending.

 

We are wondering if you are willing to come to our school? We seriously would do anything to have you here, and we are all obsessed with your books. It will be an honor to have you.

Thanks for posting. I'm glad RESTART made such a hit with you.

Your questions: I assume that Bear and Aaron were always swaggering bullies, and Chase may even have become that way from associating with them and the team. It's hard to answer about Chase's Dad. He's kind of pushy even with his own family, so it looks like he might have done some bullying too. Good point.

Thanks for writing. I'll try to answer your questions:

Yes, Chapter 29 would have been fine. But didn't you want to know what happened with Brendan and his romance? I did. I couldn't leave the poor guy hanging. Plus he was an important character -- Chase's first real friend after the accident.

I visit a lot of schools and bookstores,but it has to be by official invitation, as from your Principal or the head of the Reading Department. There are details about school visits on this website.
