So I was looking around on here and I saw you had book clubs. Can anyone start it? How do you start one and can it be about any book? Or does it have to be about one of your new books or something?

    Thanks!!!!

    Hi, Fii,

The group called The Kormaniacs usually runs a book club for each new book, and I expect they'll have one for HYPERGIFTED, especially since the book is dedicated to them. Just keep an eye on this TALKING ABOUT BOOKS section, and it should start once the group has done some reading of the new book, OK?

Thanks for your interest.                                                                                    -----Gordon Korman-----

@Fii: If you have ever read a Gordon Korman book... and decided to check out The Forum... and think you'll enjoy hanging around people who talk about GRK's stories… you're already a Kormaniac.

Should we start on March 1st, or sooner? My winter break just started so I'm going to now.

@Jade: Sounds like we've got Fii, Owen, Kormaniac Daniel, you, and me on board--and maybe Zoe and Robin and Logan and Darren and others. (Sorry if I missed anyone else who commented about HYPERGIFTED or about a book club. Everyone reading this is invited and encouraged to take part.)

Since this will be the first Kormaniacs Book Club for some of the Kormaniacs, it would be helpful to announce a start date and set the ground rules. Are we doing a chapter per day? Or a weekly check-in? Straight analysis or a daily discussion topic? Or something else? (I don't need a vote. I'm happy to go along with whatever works for everyone.)

A chapter a day seems to work the best. Discussion afterwards was cool, too

Are you starting the bookclub on Sunday Jade that is the 1st I cant' start till Monday but I will talk about two chapters on Monday

@Owen: I'm going off @Jade's message from a couple weeks ago and planning to start posting tomorrow (Sunday, 01 March). With 32 chapters in HYPERGIFTED, and covering one chapter per day in the Kormaniacs Book Club, that means we'll conclude on April Fools' Day!
