WesleyHey hey Mr. Korman!! Sorry to bother you at such a late hour (for me), but I have a quick question. Is there/was there any implied romance between Reef and Theo from Mixed Up? Or any implied feelings for the other? Specifically towards the end of the book? I understand that Theo had a mad fat crush on Portia through most of the book, so maybe he's off the list, but Reef is still a possibility. This question has been on my mind ever since I've read the book back in March last year. Maybe I'm looking to much into this, but I just need to know!

Thanks for posting. Good question. I meant to imply that those two, through a peculiar and unusual shared experience as infants, had strong brotherly feelings toward each other, but nothing more than that. This isn't the first time that question has come up, though, so there is something in their relationship that some people have seen and others accepted as a strong bond based on the odd circumstance of their shared isolette experience as infants. It's also based on the feelings that a boy who has a solid Mom and Dad experience has for a friend who has nothing of the kind.
Interesting question, and one that I've seen before. -----Gordon Korman-----

Hi! I’ve already asked another question but i might be asking a few more if you don’t mind! I just finished reading restart and I honestly enjoyed ALOT. I’ve read Linked,Restart, The Unteachables, Slugfest, The Fort, and Mixed up! I REALLY love reading your books and as a middle school writer, I’ve learned some new things from reading them! I enjoyed the unteachables and slugfest the most but what books would you recommend? Also, at the end of Slugfest, based off of the ending does it mean that Cleo and Yash are crushing on each other? And btw, if you were to make a 2nd book (which if you did, I’d read it in a heartbeat:) you could include something about them forming an actual team to go to nationals (not trying to push, but trying to help suggest ideas). Anyways, I wanted to ask you that besides your newest release, are you currently writing or going to write another book? And if so, would you mind telling me the name of one of the characters? Thanks so much I look up to you so much! I hope you a GREAT day and I’m so sorry I took up so much of your time!
Best regards,
BGF

Fire away. I'll do my best to supply the answers.
Since you liked THE UNTEACHABLES and SLUGFEST best, I recommend my Book #100, THE FORT. Also FAKER. And I bet you'll get a lot of laughs out of UNPLUGGED.
Cleo and Yash? Sure, why not. I don't plan a sequel, but I wouldn't rule one out either. (That's what's called an indefinite maybe!)
Next in line is called SLEEPLESS. And I'm working on a couple of things, but it's too soon to tell you much about them. The name of the characters? Mickey,Carlo, Skye, Levi, Thea. Do you find it hard to come up with names? Names are kind of easy -- everybody's got one. You just have to find one that suits your character - that's the hard part!
OK? And don't apologize for taking up my time. Hearing from my readers is important to me!
