I pre-requested a copy of HYPERGIFTED from the library, so I had it days after release! I also have some comments on the rest of the books, so scroll down a bit if you don't want spoilers.

Jingle: I think the star of King Wenceslaus is a pretty cool item to find. BUT where is Victor? The last sentence of Jackpot declares him a member of the team.

Titanic Series: MAJOR SPOILERS, watch out. Jack the Ripper being on the Titanic is one of those classic crazy Gordon Korman moments where something just absolutely bananas-ridiculous-random happens. Where did you get the idea?

Hypergifted: I thought it was especially funny, and timely/topical.

The Chicken Doesn't Skate: I loved how the blurbs on the back were in-universe of the character's opinions of Heneritta.

Everest the Contest: I have always been interested in Mt. Everest. Plus, I like all the twists and last-minute changes to the line-up.

I am not sure if I have anymore books requested currently, but I will request another batch next time I am at the library.

The government stealing Melissa's invention? Another classic Crazy Gordon Korman moment that made me laugh because it is just so absurd at first. But it totally happens.
