Hi! My name is Cassia, I go to CVES, and my class read your book Restart.
My favorite part of the book is in the old home when Mr. Solway sends his walker flying towards Aaron and Bear. I find this part really funny and interesting.
One of my favorite characters is Joel Webber. I relate to him, because I love music. I’m writing a book that switches perspectives. Do you have any tips?

Dear Mr. Gordon Korman,

 

Hi! My name is Maggie from CVES in San Diego, California. In Mrs. Jones class I am also a fifth grader, and we read your book Restart. My class read the book as a novel study and we loved it. Last year in fourth grade I read your book The Unteachables and did a presentation on it too. (It was really good) We just finished reading Restart as a class and we read it in chunks, I loved that each chapter had the different characters' perspectives.

My favorite part in the entire book was when Mr. Solway came into the courtroom looking really good in a suit and of course came with his walker. I also like this part a lot because Mr. Solway covers up for Chase by saying that he lended the Medal of Honor to him and that got the judge to say “Case closed”. 

My favorite character has to be Shoshanna because I love her attitude so much and it reminds me of myself. I also love her because she trusted Chase faster than I expected but I like it like that because I wasn’t expecting it.

My favorite part of the book is when Chase was in the court room and all his friends were there to help him. 

My favorite character is probably Shoshanna. I relate to her and she can stand up for herself, and just has a cool personality. I also like Joel, Brenden, and Chase.

I give this book a solid 10/10. I love everything about it. Also my favorite genre is realistic fiction. Like Judy Blume, Roald Dahl, and you Gordon Korman some books are realistic fiction.

 Our class has just finished reading your book Restart. Many kids in our class enjoyed your book, actually I\'m pretty sure all of them did . I think your book is amazing, I personally think you should make more, because this should be a classic, even though not many people know about it. 

My favorite character is probably the new“ Chase”, because he is really nice and means no harm. 

       I also, personally, read/listened to Snoop, one of your newish book. I really like Carter. He is really funny, it\'s also relatable because a lot of kids are addicted to screens like him, and I used to be like him, because of Covid. If I were a teacher, I would definitely read this to my kids, to teach them to be reasonable with their screen time.
I can\'t believe that you published a book when you were 14!  

Additionally I like 39 clues, though I don\'t read the chapter books I enjoy the graphic novels. I\'m also excited to take a look at hyper gifted. I also want to make a book if you have any tips, they would be helpful. Keep creating more fabulous books! Thank You!

Hello. Lately, our class at C.V.E.S. has been reading your work, Restart, as a class for a Novel Study. It was an excellent read, and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed it. I am a big fan of your writing!

In Restart, my favorite part is when Chase\\\'s memory of how he stole the Medal of Honor floods back. To me, it was like the pieces of the book all fit together. At that time, I just wanted to enter your book and experience the entire thing. It just clicks! Plus, Chase realizes who he really is, or was, and decides to return the medal. Your writing really brings the entire book to life. I really like it.

My favorite character in your book has to be Brendan. I really enjoyed his goofiness and his severe crush on Kimberly. And he also has amazing creativity for his viral videos, which reminds me of some people like my brother. Brendan shows leadership in the video club, and that is really important in your book to me.

I have one question for you: What is it like to be an author? I want to one day be a great one like you, and would like some advice for it. Thank you a lot for your time!

My name is Naisha and I go to C.V.E.S. My class recently read Restart. I definitely loved your book and hope that you continue to write books like Restart. 

 

My favorite part of the book would probably be when Shoshanna dumped frozen yogurt or when they all become friends or some become more than friends.

My favorite character is Shoshanna because she can stand up for herself and others. I can also relate to her furriness when Chase bullied Joel which caused him to move. Not that it has happened to me but in a different scenario I had that same furriness. I can’t wait to read HyperGifted and more of your books.

My class and I have just finished your Restart book. It\\\'s so good, I really enjoyed it. I am not a great hand writer, but I make great stories. Reading is one of my favorite subjects. I want to be a writer like you! But then again, I am not the type of person to sit down for a long time because I have combined ADHD, but that also helps my creativity, and for stuff I like (like making stories), it gives me hyper focus. I love the ups and downs in this story, like chase dont like chase like chase doesn\\\'t like chase, but it could be a little repetitive for some people. I also hope you make a part two to this story. My favorite character in Restart is Chase Ambrose. 

My favorite part is the chapter when Brendan is making a one man band, then Chase comes and sees what is happening, and how Brendan later on in the story describes what he looked like. One thing I would like to know is how you came up with this story. It very interests me how sometimes some authors come up with books in a very creative way.can\\\'t wait to read hypergifted

Our teacher Mrs. Jones from C.V.E.S. told us we were going to write a letter to you and some other authors, and I was excited to write this letter because I love your books so much.  I\'ve read Jackpot, Jingle, The Fort, War Stories,Restart,and soon to read Snoop and Hypergifted.

I love your book War Stories, can you please make a book about a Jewish kid who lives in WW2 or a kid who discovers facts about the family\'s past.
