AmeliaWhile writing the characters Aaron and Bear in Restart, did you ever think that they actually cared for Chase as a person and a friend rather than someone who let them have fun? Like, when thinking of their characters, did you ever imagine them to actually care about him when he was in the hospital, etc?
(Sorry I keep posting, I'm just so eager to talk about books, I'll try to hold back)

Aaron and Bear cared for Chase as much as selfish, self-centered people can care for another person. That goes just as well for their feelings about each other.Their sense of friendship and caring is stunted because they are basically "me first" people. I'm sure you know people like that, or at least know about them. Yes, they might have cared that he was in the hospital, but their level of caring is not what you and I would imagine.
I see you're writing shorter pieces and getting them through. That's the way it's done. I'll try to keep up with you! --GK--
