I was thinking back to the ending of Criminal Destiny where Dr. Bruder comes at Malik with a syringe full of sedative. Was the point to sedate him or kill him?  Because Eli could have been right and the sedative could have been a 'dose makes the poison' kind of thing. If it was that would imply that Dr. Bruder was fully ready to kill his son... So, was it meant to sedate or was it something else that just happened to also sedate?

    Hi,Amelia,

Good question. First of all, Dr. Bruder was not Malik's father. The clones were lab-born, and the "parents" were employee-scientists of Serenity. I think the plan with all of the clone kids was to knock them out and then "rearrange" their thinking so that they could be brought under control again. If it couldn't be done, the they always had the option of getting rid of the person/clone.                                                                                                                                                  --GK--

On a similar note. Do you think they sedated when Hector came he back to Serenity? Did they know what they would do with any of the clones if they ever decided to come back or did they not trust him not to double cross them? What did they do with him? (Don't worry, I know the Serenity parents aren't really their parents, I meant in the figurative sense, because really the only parents they can have are the parents kf the people they're cloned from.. kinda??)

It never said about Hector, but I would imagine they had to tweak him a little bit to keep him in line.           --GK--
