Dear Mr. Korman,

I have a project at my school where we need to research an author, and it just so happened you were on the list. I just can't find enough personal stuff about you because there isn't enough reliable information on the internet. I am just wondering if you could help me out and maybe tell me a few things that I could use on my paper. It doesn't have to be a lot, but enough that I can use to polish my paper.

Hi, Benjamin,

Info about me. Born in Montreal, grew up in Toronto, went to NYU for college, and married and living in the New York area.

Started writing in 7th grade because of assignment to write what our teacher called "a novelette." Got started writing something I called "Bruno & Boots," and eventually sold it to Scholastic Canada, who published it as THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL. I was 12 back then. That was about 50 years ago, and I've been writing ever since. My booklist now numbers 107 with the latest publication, HYPERGIFTED, sequel to UNGIFTED and SUPERGIFTED.  Most famous publication is probably RESTART, which has been on the New York Times bestseller list for over 5 years. Yay!

I have one wife and 3 kids, ages 21, 24, and 27, boy-girl-boy. Favorite sport: NFL football, Giants season ticket older and long-suffering fan. Favorite place on Earth, any ocean beach.
