So..this might seem odd but I’ve been curious, Mr. Korman…do you…ever….read fan fiction of your books..? I’m asking this because I think I might wither if you ever see my work on ao3.

Hi, Izzy,

Now you've got me curious! No, I never read fan fiction based on my stuff. Should I? I don't even know wht ao3 is. But since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, my advice to you is not to wither.

                                                             Regards,                                                           -----Gordon Korman-----

I would recommend for your sanity to not go on ao3. It’s a lawless land.

You should read the fanfiction LMAO I’ve checked and I’d say it’s pretty fine. I’d say those fanfics of your work are one of the only SFW things on ao3 though

Well, maybe.                                              --GK--

Interacting with your fans that way would be great! Just maybe not today.

Mostly, I haven't got the time.                                                                 --GK--
