I loved reading Gordon Korman as a kid, and I've introduced my eight year old son to the books. We've read them all in order, and he loves them, often laughing out loud as I read. We're on the last book right now, but I discovered online that there was apparently an epilogue printed in the first edition of This Can't Be Happening at McDonald Hall about their graduation. I would love to end with that epilogue after we finish the final book, but it is not available anywhere online. Does anybody have a first edition or access to the epilogue?

EPILOGUE

I won't say they were good boys after that. But, come to think of t, they had never really been bad boys. Just mischievous ones. They did maintain their good grades from then on, and they did behave well -- sometimes.

However, I have no doubts as to the identity of the boys who put overalls on the statue of Sir. John A. Macdonald that stands in front of Macdonald Hall. And I have srong suspicions that they wre the same two who replaced my tuxedo with a judo suit on Founder's Day. I am even inclined to believe that they were the ones who entered my name and photograph in the "Sexiest Man in Toronto" contest. (I shouldn't complain.  I won third prize and enjoyed a free dinner at the Royal York.)

Walton and O'Neal left Macdonald Hall three years ago -- but I always know when they return for Founder's Day. Each year the judo suit in my closet undergoes a slight change (which leads me to believe that my wife is their accomplice.) I am happy to report that I have recently been promoted to Black Belt.

That's it! I'm told they removed it when the decision was made to turn "Bruno & Boots" into a series. I guess it sounded too final.

Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed revisiting the series, and am looking forward to reading "I Want to Go Home!" with him next week. I remember that being among the funniest books I ever read 30 years ago.
