AlyHi Mr. Korman!
I'm graduating from college next week (I'm a dual credit student so I'll be graduating from high school near the end of May) and I decided to make my college graduation cap Ungifted themed! I absolutely adore the book and was inspired by someone who made a Schooled graduation cap!
My mom wanted me to pick out a quote from the book series so her friend can make a sticker of it and put it on the cap! I'm not sure what quote I should pick from the series so I was hoping you could help me out? My mom is hoping for a short one so that it can be read from the cap.
It can also be silly! One of the contenders for me was “The whole building was an extension of my locker—shabby, crumbling, depressing.” but since my college was pretty nice compared to my high school it's not that fitting, haha.

I'm not sure I have a quotation that will come up to the glory of your double graduation! But let's try.
Chloe was good for a few. Example: "The speed of the drive is directly proportional to the acuteness of the crisis."
or "Being gifted is not a gift. A gift you get for nothing. This you have to pay for."
or "I have the perfect wardrobe -- for milking a cow."
or my favorites, none of whch make your Mom's list, but which have possibilities for paraphrasing:
"Einstein: some old guy eating a banana."
"Tin Man was a bundle of circuits, but I was all too human."
and
"I'm not a genius. I'm just an ordinary kid who made a really big mistake."
None measure up to the occasion, which should call for skywriting and fireworks! But I tried!
Kindest regards, -----Gordon Korman-----
