Jackie PetersGordon, a fan in his 50s here, who has passed on the love now to his own children. God bless you and your family.
One question/critique - why did you re-publish classic works like Go Jump in the Pool or the War with Mr. Wizzle with so many changes? There's no point trying to keep up with inflation or technology advances, they change all the time, just like social norms or practices. Your books became beloved classics in so many homes, the way they were! When we read your works, or other classics like The Great Brain or Henry Huggins etc, we expect to see out of date notions. For adults its part of the charm, and the kids also understand they were written in a different time.
"Progress! Just because a thing is new and modern doesn't make it good!" (Gloria Peabody, quoting from memory.) Please keep the original text, and don't change a word of them!
Thank you for the many years of laughter and enjoyment you have given us.

Thanks for posting and for being such a long-time reader!
Innocent! Completely innocent! All the changes were made by Scholastic, the original publisher. I admit I might have tried to update a little, but I never did. When I was a kid, I was crazy about THE GREAT BRAIN series, and they were all from an outdated time. I found it charming. So I can't say for sure what I would have done about my own stuff.
But I'm innocent! -----Gordon Korman-----
