EllieDear Mr. Kormen,
This year we read Restart! I love it!!! Will you ever make a movie of Restart if you are not why? I also read Snoop, it was really good! Do you have a favorite character in Restart and do you connect with that character how and why? I love how we can empathize with some characters and some we cannot. Why did you make the book and who inspired you?

I'm not making a movie of RESTART because authors do not make movies. Filmmakers do. My fav. character was always Chase. I don't particularly connect with my characters -- I'm almost like their Dad, right? And most writer don't require what you call "inspiation." We write because we have something to say. That's just about all it takes to start us scribbling.
