Dear Mr. Korman,

You are a very good author. I plan to try to read some or all of your new novels before the end of the summer. My favorite is restart. I really hope you make a movie because it's an action pack book. It was my favorite book we read in the school year. We read wonder, City of Ember too . but my favorite was restart. My favorite character is Mr Solway. He is such a funny character. But I kind of wish we heard more about Hallen and the book a bit more. I would totally read the sequel if you made one!! Mrs Sullivan told me you respond really fast but it might take you a while to respond if you have the whole fourth grade writing to you. but I have a couple of questions to ask you.
1. What's your favorite book you've ever read? ( It doesn't have to be one that you wrote)
2. Which book did you enjoy most writing?
3. If you had to choose which book you would change, why? would it be the beginning, middle and end or maybe all?
4. What book took you the longest to write and publish?
5. What was your least favorite book you ever wrote?
6. If you had to pick which book would you have been fine not writing at all?
I have never written to an author ever before but if I did this probably would be my favorite one yet. I hope you have a great summer or winter!

1. My fav. book is THE SIRENS OF TITAN by Kurt Vonnegut.

2. Frankly, I'm really enjoying the book I'm working on right now -- it doesn't have a title yet.

3. I wouldn't change a word of anything. At the time I write my stories, they seem to me to be perfect, and that's the way I would leave them.

4. The book that took me the longest was an older novel called LOSING JOE'S PLACE. It was a Y/A, and I found it very hard to stay on topic -- it was my first first-person narrative.

5. No such thing as least favorite. and 6. Ditto.I'm glad I wrote them all!
