Hey Gordon!

You're probably not going to see this, but if you do I would just like to say thanks for inspiring me!

I think I read the Masterminds books when I was either 8 or 9, and now, 6 years later, I still haven't been able to get them out of my mind. I love every aspect of it. The bond between Eli, Tori, Malik, and Amber, the whole 'nature vs nurture' concept, how 4 teens are able to take down people who used them their whole lives. I love the action and emotional scenes, and the way they had each other's backs was so fun to read.

I'm currently plotting my own book, and Masterminds has been a huge inspiration (along with the Hunger Games and the Maze Runner, but less so), and while it leans more towards the YA side, Masterminds, is what inspired me to even write in the first place. I love your other books too of course, but none have stuck with me as much, even throughout the years.

I'm glad MASTERMINDS went over so well with you. You call it an "inspiration," which really pleases me! As you can understand, the writing part was inspirational  too.

When (if) I publish my book I'll try to engage with my readers just as much as you do. I haven't read many other of your books, and I was wondering if there some you could recommend me? I've heard that Son of a Mob and Unplugged are both really good.

THE BOOKS section of this website lists the whole lot, so you can take your pick from there. But if you're a fan of something like MASTERMINDS, I could recomment THE HYPNOTISTS trilogy. Thanks for the recommendations, I'll see if my local library has them later this week (hopefully they do).

Hypnotists and the Fort both seem like great reads, and I hope I'll be able to find a copy of each soon!
