Hi Gordon Korman,

I just saw a video on the SBSK channel on Youtube about two brothers, one is blind and has autism, and the other one has a Youtube channel about American vet/war hero stuff. Watching them, I was thinking they could be in a Gordan Korman book! I know in the past you have included characters learning from veterans. I'm not sure if any of your books cover a main character who has disabilties, but I know for sure you like Youtube because characters liking Youtube is mention in a couple of your books.

Anyways, I think that SBSK's channel could create some cool middle school grade book inspiration. My mother (an English and Special Ed teacher) thinks your books should be read to prisoners in jail to teach them empathy. She really enjoys your books and reading them to her students!

Thanks for posting. I appreciate your support for my books, and your Mom's support too! Until now, I hadn't known too much about Special Books by Special Kids. I certainly intend to look into their work.

I appreciate the fact that you think my work might move into that category. I recommend MIXED UP, which doesn't deal with a disability, but nevertheless outlines the lives of two boys whose lives cross in an unusual way, one of them suffering through tragic circumstances.
