IzzyThis really sounds kind of kookoo bananas “nurse he got out again” but just hear me out.
so I was thinking about Hiwasse has no real state it’s in, leading me to believe it’s in its own imaginary 51st American state. Which leads to the fun possibility of everyone having an accent that makes no sense but nobody questions it because thats just how Hiwasse works.
Like, Yeah Dr. Fitzwallace is Scottish (duh), Bear is New Yorken, Aaron is violently British (not cockney), the Ambroses are all midwestern, for some reason Joel and Shosh are the only average American sounding ones, Kimberly is valley girl, Brenden is transatlantic (this accent doesnt actually exist but I think it fits Brenden as it was made up for the radio and he’s an entertainer), and maybe Mauricia is Australian or something. Not too sure for Barton and Hugo but leaning towards Australian for Barton.
Why does this happen? No clue. Maybe Hiwasse is a supernatural anomaly. I think it’d just be funny.

Maybe there was a hurricane 100 years back or something that scrambles the town. Also you’re right Canadian Chase and by extension Ambrose’s works better.
I am scared to see how you can make Hiawassee look normal though.
