Hello,

I’m a Canadian middle grade author and i received an email from “Gordon Korman” today that complimented my book, Touching Grass. While I had a moment where I was extremely excited to get an email like that from such a legendary author, I’m now guessing this may have been spam, so I’m replying on one of your official channels.
On the off chance this actually was you - wow, that made my day. Thank you! Me and my sons are huge fans of yours!
In the more likely event you did not send me this note, I thought you might want to know about it.

I'm sorry to report that it wasn't me. Apparently, someone is doing multiple acts of posing as me for some reason. I'm sorry he managed to get to you.

I just had the same phishing message come to my business email also impersonating you, Gordon.

The email came from "[email protected]"

You don't have to post this message if the email was using a real email address, but wanted to let you know. I marked it as a phishing scam.

And I responded to it, then searched about who is Gordon, the author of 100+ books and find out this forum, where that email [email protected] , stated as scam. Very sad about, but I don't get what that people aiming for?...
