Hi Gordon again!

So I was making another AU of your more supernatural books. It's going to be a crossover of the SCP Foundation! If you're a fan of supernatural stories, both comedic and horror in nature, you should check it out!

Anyways, my plan was to to have black spaces for each letter of various places or names, since that's how it works in the SCP Foundation for "confidentiality". But then I realized that I don't know where a lot of these books take place! 

Of course most books have names of hometowns, Delgado, Hardcastle, Stratford/Three Hills. But none them really have a state they take place in since they're all made up places, lol. 

I was wondering which states (and cities they live in if I didn't see or notice it) these books take place in?

• Ungifted  (not going to use Ungifted in this AU but the location is something I think about a lot)
• Mixed-Up (I believe the town is called Delgado because of Reef's middle school, but no clue)
• Whatshisface (I can't remember if the state where Stratford/Three Hills was mentioned at all)
• Sleepless (I'm assuming it's somewhere in the East because that's where most shagbark hickory is seen) (also not really supernatural but since the serum has inhuman properties, I included it along with Theamelpos from ASITLOAGB, but I know that location)
• Nose Pickers From Outer Space (I only read that first book so far so maybe it's revealed in the other books. All I know is that it's not in Chicago, Texas, or California. And that the school is called Clearview Elementary, but it's a pretty common name for a school)

Thanks for posting.

The reason you're unsure about the location of these books is because I deliberately planned it that way. They're all fictional places, specifically placed "out there" so that anyone reading them can picture someplace they're more familiar with. Sorry it seems to be bothering you a little. You must be one of those people who believe "everything has to be somewhere." Sorry. Hey there Mr.Korman! I know that you didn't give these settings a specific place for a reason and thats just how you write, but I wanted to know if you give the thumbs up to the information that Garland Farm and Claverage Middle School are located in Northern California, because at the beginning of the books Rain and Capricorn are collecting plums, and most plum production in America comes from California. Also real Hippie communes popped up in California in the style of Garland farm (wooden cabins/produce made by the community ) and the mental images I got remind me of a commune in Northern California called Sunburst Sactuary, which actually still had 30-ish members in 2019! Also the town is named Claverage right? Just checking.

I did some research and found out that plums will grow anywhere! But you're right about Hippy territory, so northern California is probably a good guess. Then I did more research and found out that Hippy communes can also grow anywhere. But I think I'l stick to northern California. You win.
