JessHi Gordon!
I am a teacher that is gearing up to start the year by teaching your novel, The Juvie Three. I have an activity to start the teaching with in which I am making a "rap sheet" for Gecko, Terence, and Arjay.
Do you have any physical descriptors of these characters (other than the descriptors given about Arjay's appearance) that you had in mind while you were writing these characters? Hair colors, eye colors, etc? Any information you could give me about how you pictured them would be wonderful!
Thank you for all of your writing and books. I'm really excited to teach this novel and think my students will really enjoy it.

Thanks for posting. It's great to hear that THE JUVIE THREE still has legs! It's been a long time, but here goes:
I always pictured Gecko as undersized, dark matt of hair, dark eyes, olive complexion.
Terence was your average young teen -- probably fair, blue eyed -- I pictured him as the one who would look least like a young "hood."
And I hardly remember Arjay at all, except that I believe I meant him to be black. I seem to remember writing the book 11 or 12 years ago! In a field of (now) 108, it's hard to remember details. Sorry.
