Your books are amazing! Once I pick one up and start reading it, I literally can't put it down!!! Its so awesome you wrote your first book at 14! Had you already been writing stories before then? and in The Unteachables was Mr. Kermit's name inspired by Kermit the Frog? Thank you for your time!

Thanks for your enthusiastic endorsement of my books! Actually, I was 12 when I wrote the first one, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL. It was a 7th grade English assignment. It was my first real effort at writing anything. I really have the teacher to thank for assigning what he called "a novelette." I might not have tried it otherwise.

And the name Kermit was just a name I chose. No Frog.
