Hello! You may not remember me, but I remember YOU! I was a librarian in Henrico County in Richmond, VA years ago, and we invited you to come speak to the middle schoolers in our county. The middle schoolers had to read one of your books to come hear you speak. The librarians and I took you to dinner, and we had such great conversations about your life and your writing career. Well, 15+ years later, I am a middle school librarian at Glade Spring Middle School in Glade Spring, VA in Washington County Public Schools. I have a wonderful principal, Melissa Burke, who does an All School Reads book, each year with our small school population of 230! We are reading your book called Restart! That is our theme at the end of our news crew show each day. "Every day is a chance to RESTART! We were wondering about your availability to come to our school or county in the spring 2027. Our public librarian, Tara Williams, said that she may be able to help us with the funding.
