JaidenDear Mr Korman, I am a 5th grader from Winnipeg,Canada that loves to read/write, and I read every single GK book in my public library.
I’m busy writing my first book, School Stories, but I have a story idea named WHO AND WHAT?
Summary:
A kid gets suspended for 2 weeks, but when biking home, a baseball bat strikes him in the head, leaving him unconscious.
Then kidnappers grab him and his bike, and put him in the van.
When he wakes up, the kidnappers realize that the kid has amnesia, and can’t remember anything except the strike.
The kidnappers drop the kid and his bike, in LAS VEGAS.
How can a kid with amnesia get his memories back, and get home, in two weeks?
P.S. should the title be WHO AND WHAT? or WHO OR WHAT?

Hi, Jaiden,
Thanks for posting and trusting me with your plot. I'm not really sure what you're asking, so here's a summary:
Why did they kidnap him and then abandon him? And why Vegas? And why the suspension? It isn't as though no one will be looking for him during those 2 weeks, right?
I guess I don't know enough to really comment. Sorry. My choice would be WHO AND WHAT, but I don't really know enough to say why.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, Jaiden. Good luck with the writing. -----Gordon Korman-----

JaidenHere’s more:
His father was the best spam caller in college, and the kidnappers believed it, and they lost two million bucks. And because they took money from the bank, where they used to work, they got fired, and took revenge.
They dropped the kid at Vegas because they were gamblers, and they realized that the kid didn’t remember his parents’s names
and phone numbers.
He got suspended because he accidentally swung a baseball bat into the window of the computer room, breaking a computer.
His family realizes that he didn’t come home, and the whole town panics.
P.S. the title is WHO AND WHAT? because it’s the two main questions the kid is trying to solve.
