Hey Gordon! I loved your book Restart. It really made me think about how different things you simply gloss over could be, just like when Chase changes his personality when he loses his memory. Some of my favorite characters in the book are Chase Ambrose, Mr. Solway, and Shoshanna Weber. My absolute favorite part of the book is when Chase figures out he stole the medal of honor, not Aaron and Bear. I also liked how Shoshanna slowly learns Chase’s newfound kindness.

I think Restart’s theme can affect anybody’s empathy and kindness.  I learned that anybody could change, no matter the circumstances. It motivated me to always have hope. The concept of there being always the possibility for change keeps me empathetic and forgiving. If everyone came to accept other people, even their enemies, I think it would make the world a better place.
