Thanks for posting. Your question: The "inspiration," if it can be called that, was a little school in a small town in Tennessee. They did a unit on the Holocaust, and collected 6 million paper clips so they could wrap their minds around such a vast number. I used a 6-million link paper chain to represent the 6 million Jews who were killed during the Holocaust. And yes -- it turned out to be a VERY large number! -----Gordon Korman-----
