Dear Mr. Korman,

I love Unteachables! It has amazing character POV (Point of View) chapters and is also very relatable. I have one question - why aren't there any chapters from Elaine's (who rhymes with pain) POV?

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that THE UNTEACHABLES made a hit with you.

Your question: I haven't got a good answer for why Elaine didn't get a POV chapter. She was more the strong silent type, I guess. A lot of people have asked the same thing.

Do I do book signings? I do. I also visit schools and libraries and attend different literary and teachers' conventions. Of course, it depends where you live -- I travel a lot, but I don't get to go everywhere. And the past couple of years have made it impossible to travel or do personal appearances. But I'm hoping life will get back to normal soon.

Hello Gordon!

I just read "The Unteachables" yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed it! (It is one of 6 books that our public library has included in a Reading Link Challenge for students in grades 4 & 5.)

I am writing because I think we need an adult book that follows poor Zachary Kermit after the story ends. Maybe he could pick up a teacher-librarian in his hot, refurbished car and they could have some adventures! You can't leave him there in that drab apartment with no love interest...it's not fair!
