Hi, Alex,

Thanks for posting and for choosing me for your project.

Fun facts? Who has time for fun? Let's see -- I'm a big football fan, but I'm also into English soccer. I got started writing in 7th grade, but I wasn't trying to be an author. I was trying to pass 7th grade English! (The story that became my first book got a B+. Apparently, neatness counts.) And THE FORT, which comes out next summer, will be my 100th book. I'm pretty proud (and amazed!) at that. I'm husband to 1, and Dad to 3, boy-girl-boy. Favorite food: good old burgers and fries. Favorite books, TV & movies: funny ones. Favorite vacation spot: anywhere with an ocean beach. And the people who read my books and write to me are very good friends of mine!
