Hi. I’m a really big fan of all Gordon Korean books especially the MacDonald Hall series. Are there any plans to do audio for these books? I have a child who has dyslexia and loves listening to audio books. I would love nothing more than to introduce them to the MacDonald Hall series.

Re: Recorded Books. There are loads of them, and your local bookseller should be able to get them for you. The best bookseller in Canada would be Chapters, at www.chapters.indigo.ca

Thanks for the quick reply. I spoke to Chapters Indigo and they don’t have the MacDonald Hall series in audio. Is there a specific retailer you know that carries it? Even if not in Canada. I’ve been scouring the internet but haven’t found any official audios of this series. That’s why I thought to contact you.

Sorry, Shana. You may be right about the Bruno & Boots books. I have so many audio books that I've forgotten there may be some that predate my stuff in audiobooks! I think you might just have to be the audiobook/reader on this one. -----GK-----

A better question would be why not? The book was written, and people were telling me how good it was. My Mom typed it in manuscript form, and we sent it to the publisher, Scholastic. They liked it, and the rest is history. That was almost 100 books ago, and I'm VERY glad I found my career at the age of 12! -----Gordon Korman-----

My gr45 students are enjoying a number of your books (shipwrecked, swindle, unteachable…)

Personally, I watched the Netflix trailer for Bruno & Boots, but sadly, it doesn’t appear available on Canadian Netflix. This is why I’m writing. If it was available in Canada, I’d watch it. I suspect my students would too!

Thanks for posting and remembering that long-ago visit. The Bruno & Boots movies (there are 3) are still run from time to time over YTV in Canada. Netflix took them off quite a while ago, unfortunately. I hope you can find them. They're really very well done, and a lot of fun.
