This is Mr. Greer's Class from Grand Rapids Michigan, we love your books!!! Is Luthor based on a real dog?

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that my books have been making a hit with you.

Your question: Luthor is (thank goodness!) a hundred percent fictional, which means I made him up. He's a sweet dog in most of the 8 books in the series, but Savannah is really the only person who can handle him -- she calls him "Sweetie!" and he adores her. His best book is SHOWOFF. (Laughs, and maybe a few tears, guaranteed!)
