Hi, I love your books. I am currently reading operation do over and can\'t help but notice how similar it is to restart. I am enjoying it very much and I can tell it\'s going to be one of my favorites. I\'m wondering what inspired you to write about second chances in life? Also, I was wondering if you have any pets? I noticed your books usually include an animal. Thanks!

Thanks for posting. I'm glad to hear that OPERATION DO-OVER is going over well with you. Your comment is curious, though. I can see the similarity between "DO-OVER" and RESTART in terms of second chances, but otherwise the books are not very much alike. I'm taken with the idea of a second chance, or "do-over." It would be nice if everyone could get at least one!

Our family has had pets from time to time, but right now we have none, as the kids (we have 3) are in various stages of heading to college, graduating and moving away, etc. and there's just no time to enjoy a pet. But as a writer, I enjoy the dynamic between dog and owner.
