Hi. Guess who this is? My name starts with a J. Anyways, this isn't a guessing game. Did you know about the Gordon Korman bookshelf at my school?

Probably not. The story behind it is that I'm basically a mini librarian. I mean, I'm not, but I'm so obsessed with books I asked the librarians if I could help them out and now I get to shelf books whenever I go in there. I also got to name the shelves (by my own accord). If you want to meet all of them, here (I'm too lazy to put instructions):

Spork and Spark, they are twins. Then there's Clif and Greg! Then there's King Peppa and Caspian Cat. Then there's Mr. P. Then there's Hillybillies, and then there's Read and Ead (twins)! And then there's Bio and Baby (also twins). Then there's Double and Bubble (You guessed it, twins!) And then there's Director. And then there's Gordon Korman! (That's the bookshelf name.) And then there's Percy Jackson. Lastly are References and Specials. They are the only normal ones.

If you can't tell, or just forgot, I named all of those bookshelves. I like to give everyone who ever enters a tour. Ever. 

You know, I'd tell you why they're named those things if my hands wouldn't hurt afterward.

The point is that you have a bookshelf named after you at my school! Congrats! And bye!

Yeah! I'm glad you like it. I don't know if a lot of other people know the name of the bookshelf since it is technically not official, but it kind of is since the librarians agreed, but literally like 2% of my school's population goes into the library, but now I am going to make it official. I am going to physically create (another) official map of the library and make a billion copies and put them there. I also really like how you said "advertising" in one sentence and "priceless" in the next. Also, I will tell you why they have named those things because I have free time now and this forum, in fact, your website, makes me very happy to be on so thank you! And thank you again for being an amazing author and the best person ever, actually. You are my favorite author ever. I'm kind of going to write this (the descriptions) like a story because that's the best way to describe it, really.

I'll put it later though. It is taking a long time to write.

Yes, me too. You sort of radiate the awesome vibes from your books all of the time, so it is also all over the Forum so the entire page is just an awesome adventure like all of your books! So I love the forum. I love your website! You're the best author ever, Gord!

THANKS SO MUCH! My face almost split open from my smile!!! That makes me so happy! So, so so happy! Thank you! So much! I am so screenshotting that! That makes me so happy, oh my gosh, thanks! THANKS!! I could literally cry I am so happy, you don't know what that means to me!! Because you're so cool! And like, just the thought, that the person who created Roddy, Ben, Wallace Wallace, Kiana, and so many more amazing and spectacular characters in such amazing and spectacular universes considers me his friend!?!?!?!?! and a SPECIAL FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! Never could you being so cool and nice and awesome have fit into my wildest dreams. I remember ever time I read and re-read Whatshisface, seeing your name on the cover and revering you because Wow, Gordon Korman wrote this! And I remember finding out there was a sequel to Ungifted, reading and re-reading it, and being just so happy and thankful you came  with another (and even better, in my opinion) book! And then Restart! The six billion and a half times I've read that. My copy is torn up partially from my dog and partially from me using it so much. And you wrote it! 

I remember in 5th grade, when I first read your books, looking around my school's library. I asked the librarian if she had any Gordon Korman books for obvi reasons. She didn't know so I looked on the bookshelf. I literally saw your name on Schooled and it was like a light bulb went off in my head!! I didn't even care what the book was about, I just got it and read it all in like, I don't know, three days? I read slowly back when I was 10. I loved that book as I expected. Unfortunately, I prowled the library and they had no more books of yours. Still loved Schooled though.

I remember when I was on Twitter and I had reposted your tweet or whatever and said you were my favorite author ever. That was before I found the forum. And you liked the tweet and i SCREAMED! Then i told my mom and we were super happy together because she knows you're my favorite author ever!!! Oh that was a magnificent day. Also the day I realized the Forum existed. Last summer

I also remember in 7th grade my reading list in the summer. One of your books, No More Dead Dogs, was on there. I immediately bought it!! And read it!! Oh I loved that book so much. It was awesome! It still is. And then later I went on Kindle and tried to get free samples of all of your books I could. Then I accidentally clicked your Amazon page and thought something like "Wow, he's so cool" but in a distance way because you are like a celebrity and I would probably never meet you let alone talk to you.

And now, you say such a kind thing to me! Wow! I will cherish this in my heart forever and ever. Currently my Spanish teacher is really late so I can afford to write all of this on here in the middle of class. But I just. Thank you so much!

You're the main inspiration for like, me becoming an author! Every time I try to write and think "oh, I cant" I remember that you published your first book at 14, MY AGE. Such an inspiration you are! And you've written 99 books, at least, no, 100, because The Fort, and you've never looked back! AAAAAAA!

In like two months, it will have been a YEAR I have known this Forum existed and used it. Wow

Anyway, I think that is all. This took like twenty minutes to write, LOL. I am so happy! I am glad I am your friend!

That is so hilarious because she actually came 42 minutes late to class

Ah, and I do actually write rather fast. My words per minute are 42, so if I have an idea and a way to execute it, I can write 11k words in two days. It's happened before. Sadly all of those words went into "The Graveyard" which I call the resting place of all of my excess or bad drafts, extra excerpts I'm never keeping, or deleted scenes. :(

Ok! I trust you, you've written infinity books plus one. I wonder why I need to write slower, though? I mean, I am going to slow down significantly, I don't think I could write that fast again.

Writing really quickly, basically whatever comes into your head, tends to be scattered and disconnected. I just mean that working on a book, or even a short story, requires more discipline.                            ---GK---

Oh ok! I understand that. The writing when I write super fast doesn't usually make a ton of sense. Especially that one time... but yeah. Lots of discipline, which will be the hardest part when writing, I think! Agh! Plus, Thank you

Hi! Gordon Korman, I just wanted to say that I am not old enough to work at a library, but if I was, I would do the same thing as Jade, 110%! I will say, I bring my friends to the library and show them the \"Gordon Korman\" section! I have even shown some the forum You are literally the best author in the whole world! I wish I could meet you in person sooooooo bad! You are my favorite author ever!
