Hey Gordon Korman! I am a fan of A BUNCH of stuff (including your books) and was wondering if you are too. So, when you were writing were you a fan of anything such as books or something? Something that inspired you? Even if you like something now.

Thanks for posting. Basically, you're asking about my interests, right? I'm still writing, so I'll go back to when I first started to write, some 40+ years ago. I wasn't a fan of all books, but I did really like an adult writer named Kurt Vonnegut. I was a hockey fan -- the Bruins, for some reason, probably Phil Esposito and Bobby Orr. I was a Beatles fan, and a big fan of Pink Floyd.

I'm not sure any of this "inspired" me, as you put it. But it's certainly a part of who I was back then.
