Dear Mr.Korman,

I just finished another book of yours called I want to go home and I was just wondering if there would be a new book. I feel like there\\\'s a lot more to explore in the world as Rudy is also coming back for next year and also maybe about Rudy\\\'s life outside of camp. Another thing that you could explore is maybe the sports championships. Overall, I feel like I want to go home has a lot of potential and there\\\'s a lot more to it. So I hope you can publish a new sequel to it as I really enjoyed it.

I'm absolutely thrilled that I WANT TO GO HOME went over so well with you! Did you check the date on that book? I was 15 when I wrote it, and I'm now in my late 50's. So I would never say never, but a sequel is pretty unlikely. But thanks a million for tickling this old author over a book with a VERY long life!

Thanks for posting. As I told Michael, above, I wrote I WANT TO GO HOME when I was 15. I'm not 15 any more. Even my kids are older than 15! So I don't think that one is going to get a sequel. Asequel to I want to go home seems to be the single most requested thing on this forum.

Maybe you could rewrite it as you would write it now at 50. C'mon Gordon, give the fans what they want!
