Dear Mr.Korman,

As you know I have read a lot of books written by you and I loved many of the series which is why I asked you about any future continuations of the series. Since it would take a bajillion years to write every single series I want to ask for a continuation about I just wanted to ask if there is any plans by your publisher or yourself to continue one of the series or add one to a single novel. I feel like a lot of your earlier works deserved more story and more continuations and some of your current works I would say too. Some of the favorite books I would like to see a continuation of would be Schooled, I Want to Go Home, the hypnotists series, the swindle series, the ungifted series, and the mastermind series. I feel like these all have potential especially with Schooled and I want to go Home and the ungifted series. Some questions I have are what happens next year in the I Want to go home book and what happens to Cap and his fund and most important of all what happens at the robotics meet for the ungifted series. For the others I admit they seem pretty final and done but when you like a really good book you just hope it doesnt end and even theres no more really topics to explore I just wish you could write about an incident or maybe show and have the Man with the Plan do something about it. You know what I'm just a really big fan of the Swindle Series, but yeah I just wanted ask if there was any future plans for any continautions because I really liked your books and wanted more. I wish every single book you wrote was a series.

Hi, Michael,

Your letter just might be the greatest compliment any writer can get, and I'm absolutely humbled by it! It's obvious that my style and my characters have really come to life for you, and I can't express how much that means to me!

As for the series: of all of them, I'd like to do MASTERMINDS the best, I think. I loved the characters, and the possibilities in their genetic makeup offer the most stories. Also, I could go on with SWINDLE indefinitely, until Griffin and the team are ready for college! I think I WANT TO GO HOME is done, perhaps because it was written so long ago. And SCHOOLED is done, I think, mostly because Cap can never be the "newborn innocent" he was in the original.

Of consideration, of course, is the publishers, who always decides the kind of material they want vs. the stuff they've had enough of. So I have to keep that in mind. But knowing you're out there is a huge boost for me. Thanks a whole lot, and thanks too for writing to explain your thinking to me.
