Hello,

I'm doing a novel study as part of my grade 5 English class and need to come up with 5 artifacts from the book The 6th Grade Nickname Game, but I'm having a real tough time doing so. What do you all think are some artifacts in this book?

This is a toughie, mostly because I don't really understand the question. What is meant by "artifacts?" Has your teacher explained it?

I think one of the "artifacts" is the boys' use of nicknames; others are the efforts the boys go through to attract Cassandra's attention; yet another is the use of the bird to focus Cassandra's interest. But I really can't be sure. And it doesn't help that I wrote the book so many years ago -- 1997!
