    Hello Gordon--

In This Can't Be Happening at MacDonald Hall, Diane and Cathy have opposite personalities than the rest of the series.  The same could somewhat be said of Bruno and Boots as well.

For instance, Diane, up for action in the first book, becomes more conservative and worrisome after the first book while Cathy becomes more of a renegade.

Is this intentional or just a natural flow of life?

    Thanks

    Hi again, Nate,

Re: Diane and Cathy. Would it sound silly if I said they did it themselves? Back in those days, when I was a teen, my characters used to come to life for me and take on their own characteristics. Once I attached Cathy more or less to Bruno, her behavior became more like his. Ditto with Diane and Boots. But in the very first book, they were just two girls from Scrimmage's.

Thank you for responding.  That makes perfect sense to me.
