Re: Margaret and Penelope. They were minor characters to make up the clones. If the series had continued, they would have been given backgrounds too. But they weren't. Sorry. Any suggestions for at least one future MASTERMINDS book that would include them? -----Gordon Korman-----

In her childhood, she was raised by her Hawaiian mother and Native American father but at the age of six she was brought into the foster care system. This because of the incapability of her parents' to take care of her well after she was diagnosed with CIPA, making her inable to feel pain. Since this, the girl was raised to be impulsive and do many things she wished while never listening to others unless she found it useful. She was talented at weaving, sowing, and creating with an interest in forensic and bodily science. Many times she would sell her creations. However, when she dropped out of high school at the age of 16, the girl began to weave with her own skin in the back side and shoulder and making patterns within herself. She was entranced with the body parts and skin left and then decided to conduct her experiments on other people, taking off their limbs and leaving patterns of stars, fire, and spiders upon her victims, then sedating them into an endless sleep for their screams. She was caught after eleven years of her crimes and sew with her materials on the way to court and then jail without much debate. She has been in jail for 28 years since then.

My early stuff was about next to nothing. I never tried to write like an adult, mostly because I thought I was writing like an adult. #1 was about two roommates, best buds, separated because of their antics (harmless, but annoying) and their efforts to redeem themselves and get back together again. #2 was about raising money (there wasn't a brass doorknob left at Macdonald Hall) so they could have a pool and have a chance to beat another school at a swim meet. And so on.
Oh, I REALLY hope there's no Malie! -----GK-----
