Hi! Yeah, no, I'm not speaking in that weird super-ancient semi-Shakespeare text voice anymore. But, dear Gord, I wanted to apologize! I haven't said nearly enough on this Forum since I met you! I'm really sorry about it. It's because of school. You already know but I am in high school now (AAAAAAAAAAAAA) and it is very difficult. I am in all Honorably Horrendous classes (Honors) and I have one Absolutely Pleasantless class, which is also known as an "AP". It's been busy! Also, because I'm in high school now, I'm trying to be more mature and not rant all of the time. I do that a lot in English class where we do discussions all of the time which I love. I realize that I talk a lot (I told the whole class discussions make me really nervous, and they all looked at me crazy, even my teacher) because I dominate all of them. I am now trying to talk less, take more notes, and make better points. I also joined a Speech and Debate club which will help with that because I am trying to be friendly with all of the administration department. IDK If this next part is personal, but I don't feel like making a cryptograph to say it, so I guess you just won't know. But speaking of cryptography, I love math so much this year! My teacher is really good! Though many disagree. I think he's my first favorite besides my English teacher. She's so cool and pretty and buff, I want to be just like her. She has the most muscles in the entire world it is insane. But anyway. I digress (english vocab term). You know it's 9 PM for me right now? And i haven't done ANY of my homework? Yeah, I'm pretty bad at this highschooling biz.

TLDR; Sorry for not being active on the Forum, I've been busy with school. My favorite teachers are my math and english ones, and my english one is my new role model. I am trying to become a better speaker and thinker to be impressive and not rude in discussions. My classes are pleasantless and horrendous.

Okay, anyway. Is your new favorite book THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT yet or is it still THE FORT? I really like the Author's Note from THE FORT. I always thought writing was just super fun and easy to you, always, but it helps to know that when you were in 7th grade writing a novel was so hard. Also, that kid who said your book was better than anything in the library? That is the best review ever. Congrats!

Oh, Jade. High school gets better, and as it gets better it tends to take less time away from doing the things you like. So have faith. The Forum will still be here when you have more time for it. And, for what it's worth, I will be here too. Writing books, like high school, gets to be something you get better at, so I will have a bit more time to devote to the Forum. At least, I'll try. And no one can do better than his/her best, right? Thanks for being so loyal!

I keep coming back and reading this, your message is very reassuring. Thank you, a lot. The Reader's Forum, to me, is a small, cozy space where the air is light and warm and sunlight flitters through the window shades in pretty stripes. There's a faint smell of citrusy lemon in the air from a really nice cleaner and the floor is spruce, decor is everywhere, yet the place is a minimalistic mess. You can see a nice worn linen couch, a small table with cup stains and two black 'n white remotes on it. There are bookshelves lining the walls, full of books, full of stories to be told. With those books you're plunged into a new universe, yet with the background of this wonderful place in your subconscious. Let anything go, you are a breeze of the wind. You are lighter than a feather, and shackles you have are gone even if it's just for right now. You're grounded yet not present, just in the perfect way possible. All you can feel is great. Gordon Korman's the kindly landlord who's nice and genuinely amazing to everyone you meet. Ruchama is one of my neighbors, just on the same floor as me, two turns left and third door to the staircase with a grayish-brown welcome mat that still looks brand new. Josey's up a floor, nearly across the hall, and has a potted cactus in a pink flower pot right beside her door and her tiny black trash bin. Aiden is on the same floor as her, yet closer to Ruchama. His door is reddish-brown and he has some sort of mat, but it's not a welcome one--just a small black rug. Logan's on the same floor at me and Ruchama, just closer to me on the other side of the halls, one turn right then spin around and you're right there. He's got a blue doorbell, somehow. The place is just great. This is what the Reader's Forum is to me, so yeah, I've never had a different thought than to be here. It's my home, and I suppose it's not going anywhere.

It's one in the morning and I'm too tired to individually respond to everything you just said other than thank you. I wish there were more words and ways to say that because I really mean it. You're a great friend. You're right, no one can do better than their best. I love anyone who tries it, too. Glad you have more time to devote to the Forum, it's not the same without you. I love this place.

Thanks, I am pretty unique in my head. I don't know where they are! No clue about Logan or Aiden, but Ruchama started school some time ago. She might just be busy. She's finishing WHATSHISFACE.
