Hello! My name is Brady and I am a 5th grader in Rhode Island. I am doing a research project on you because I am such a big fan of your book Restart. I was wondering if you could give me some info about you, like what you are doing now and how you became writing your books. Thank you!

Hi, Brady,

Here's the quick bio you asked for: I was born in Montreal, Oct. 23rd 1963, and grew up in the Toronto area. I'm now married, Dad to 3 kids, 23, 20, and almost 18, boy-girl-boy. I attended New York University. I now live with my wife and family on Long Island, NY. I started writing when I was 12, in 7th grade. Our teacher asked for a novel, by which he meant a story that didn't end after the first page. I got started, got carried away with my work, and quite accidentally wrote 100 pages of a story I called "Bruno & Boots." It became THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, my first book. And that was 100 books ago. Book # 100, THE FORT, was just published a few weeks ago.
